This is a contract role planning and scheduling activities for an upcoming plant turnaround, coordinating between multiple contractor disciplines to minimise downtime and keep the critical path visible to everyone involved. You'll build and maintain the detailed schedule, track progress during execution, and flag risks early enough for the team to act. It suits a seasoned planner who understands that a well-built, well-defended schedule is what turns a chaotic shutdown into a controlled, predictable, and safe piece of work.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the detailed turnaround schedule in Primavera P6
• Coordinate scope and sequencing across multiple contractor disciplines
• Track critical path activities and flag schedule risks early
• Support daily progress meetings throughout execution
• Maintain the master schedule as scope changes are approved
• Prepare clear schedule performance reports for client review
• Highlight resource and sequencing conflicts before they cause delays

Requirements

• At least 5 years of turnaround or shutdown planning experience
• Proficient in Primavera P6 or similar planning software
• Able to coordinate effectively across multiple contractor disciplines
• Comfortable defending the schedule under pressure from multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical and communication skills
