Tuition Centre Tutor – Add Maths & Physics (Part-time)

Sibu Bright Minds Tuition Centre is an after-school tuition centre for primary and secondary students, focused on Maths, Science, and English, with small class sizes that let tutors actually track each student's progress. We need a part-time tutor for Form 4 to 5 Additional Mathematics and Physics classes, in the evenings and at weekends, teaching small groups of 6 to 10 students who mostly stay together across the term. You'll deliver structured lessons, mark practice work, and track each student's progress toward their exams. It suits someone with a strong grasp of SPM-level Add Maths and Physics who can explain concepts several different ways, enjoys small-group teaching, and takes satisfaction in seeing students grow in confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structured Add Maths and Physics lessons to small groups
• Prepare and mark practice exercises and past-year papers
• Track student progress and flag areas needing extra support
• Communicate with parents on student progress when needed
• Adjust lesson pacing based on upcoming school exam schedules
• Explain difficult concepts in multiple ways until students understand
• Keep students motivated and engaged through challenging topics

Requirements
