Staff Nurse

We're hiring a Staff Nurse for one of our primary care clinics in Kuching, supporting GPs with consultations, minor procedures, and patient education across a busy outpatient clinic with a steady daily patient flow. It is a hands-on role that keeps you close to patients and doctors alike, ideal for a nurse who enjoys the pace and variety of primary care. You'll be a key part of keeping the clinic running smoothly and patients well looked after.

Key responsibilities

• Assist doctors during consultations and minor procedures
• Manage patient triage and accurately record vital signs
• Handle basic wound dressing and vaccination administration
• Educate patients clearly on medication and aftercare instructions
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical notes in the clinic system
• Restock and manage consultation room supplies and equipment
• Support smooth patient flow during peak clinic hours
• Uphold infection control and clinic safety standards at all times

Requirements

• Valid Malaysian Nursing Board registration
• At least 1 year of clinical experience, primary care preferred
• Comfortable with clinic management software
• Able to stay calm and organised during busy clinic periods
• Warm, patient manner with a diverse range of patients
