Job Description
Rajang Infrastructure Group builds bridges and rural roads along the Rajang basin, and is currently running an active upgrading project near Sarikei with a small, dedicated site crew. On rural infrastructure projects, a good site supervisor is the difference between a smooth job and a stalled one, so we look for practical, hands-on leaders who can keep works moving. It is a role for an experienced supervisor who is comfortable managing a mixed crew and solving day-to-day site problems without waiting for instructions from town.
We need a hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day works on a rural bridge upgrading project near Sarikei, managing a small crew of skilled and general workers through to completion. You'll coordinate materials and equipment, keep safety standards up, and report progress to the project engineer. It suits an experienced, practical supervisor who can run a site steadily, keep a mixed crew productive and safe, and handle the labour and material issues that inevitably crop up on a busy rural construction project.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily works and material deliveries on site
- Ensure all workers follow safety procedures consistently
- Report progress to the project engineer each week
- Coordinate equipment scheduling with the plant department
- Resolve day-to-day labour and material issues on site
- Keep a daily site diary of works completed and delays encountered
- Keep the crew productive and the programme on track

Requirements
Requirements
- At least 5 years of construction site experience, with 1 year supervising
- Able to read basic construction drawings
- Willing to be based near Sarikei for the project duration
- Comfortable managing a small mixed crew of skilled and general workers
- Practical problem-solver who keeps works moving
