Site Engineer

We're looking for a Site Engineer to support our ongoing mixed-development project in Kuching, a 12-storey residential tower with a retail podium, reporting to the Project Manager and on-site daily throughout construction. You'll supervise works against drawings and programme, coordinate subcontractors, and resolve the day-to-day technical issues that keep a busy site moving. It suits a hands-on engineer who is comfortable making sensible calls on the ground and wants to build real experience on a substantial, live construction project.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities against approved drawings and schedule
• Coordinate with subcontractors and resolve site-level technical issues
• Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate site records
• Check material deliveries against approved specifications
• Support setting-out and level checks with the survey team
• Attend weekly site coordination meetings with consultants
• Track outstanding RFIs and follow up with the design team

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• At least 2 years of site experience on building projects
• Able to read structural and architectural drawings confidently
• Willing to work on-site full time, including occasional Saturdays
• Comfortable resolving day-to-day site issues without waiting for escalation
