Primary School Teacher – English

We're hiring a Primary English Teacher for our Year 3 and 4 classes, following the national curriculum with additional reading enrichment blocks built into the weekly timetable. You'll plan and deliver English lessons, run reading enrichment, and track each child's progress while keeping parents informed. It suits a caring, well-organised teacher with strong classroom management who enjoys working with young learners, can differentiate lessons across a range of reading levels, and genuinely wants to help children build strong, confident literacy foundations early on.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver English lessons aligned to the national primary curriculum
• Run engaging weekly reading enrichment sessions
• Track student progress and communicate with parents each term
• Prepare classroom materials, resources, and displays
• Support school-wide literacy initiatives
• Identify students who may benefit from additional reading support

Requirements

• Degree in Education (TESL preferred) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Prior primary teaching experience preferred; fresh graduates considered
