Piping Engineer

We're hiring a Piping Engineer to review and develop piping isometrics and stress analysis for ongoing plant modification projects in the Similajau industrial park, working closely with the process and structural teams. You'll be involved from design through to site verification, reconciling drawings against real-world conditions and supporting procurement and fabrication. It is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys rigorous technical work, cross-discipline coordination, and seeing their designs safely built and commissioned on live plants.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review piping isometrics and layout drawings
• Perform pipe stress analysis using Caesar II or a similar package
• Coordinate with process and structural engineers on design integration
• Support material take-off and input for procurement planning
• Review vendor fabrication drawings for compliance with specifications
• Attend site walk-downs to verify as-built conditions
• Prepare design change notices for client review and approval

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• At least 4 years of piping design experience, petrochemical or LNG preferred
• Proficient in Caesar II and standard piping design software
• Comfortable reconciling design drawings against actual site conditions
• Strong grasp of relevant piping codes and standards
