Payroll Executive

KUCHING INVESTMENT PARTNERS processes payroll for its own staff and a handful of client companies alongside its core wealth advisory business. Payroll is a trust-critical function — people rely on being paid correctly and on time, and employers rely on their statutory obligations being met to the ringgit. We run this service with exactly the same care and discretion we apply to our clients' investments, and we want a payroll professional who shares that commitment to precision and confidentiality.

We're hiring a Payroll Executive to process monthly payroll, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB contributions, and statutory filings for our staff and client companies. The role suits an experienced payroll professional who values accuracy, confidentiality, and the steady, predictable rhythm of the monthly cycle. You'll own the full payroll process for several small companies, from timesheet input through to statutory remittance, payslip distribution, and year-end tax documentation, working with real independence.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and strictly in line with the payroll calendar
• Calculate and remit EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB contributions correctly and on time
• Prepare and submit statutory forms and year-end EA forms for each employee
• Handle payroll queries from staff and client company contacts with discretion
• Maintain complete payroll records for statutory compliance and audit readiness
• Keep current with changes to statutory contribution rates, ceilings, and rules
• Reconcile payroll control accounts and support the month-end closing process
• Set up new joiners and process leavers, adjustments, and final settlements

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting, Payroll, Business, or a related field
• At least 2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience
• Familiar with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB calculations and submissions
• Meticulous, reliable, and thoroughly discreet with confidential information
• Comfortable with payroll software and Microsoft Excel
