Optometrist (Part-time)

Our optometry service is well-equipped and steadily busy, supported by a friendly front desk and a collaborative clinical team. It is an ideal setting for an optometrist who wants regular, predictable part-time hours in a professional, well-run clinic without the overheads and admin of running their own practice.

We need a part-time Optometrist covering three days a week for eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and referrals for further ophthalmology care, working from a fully equipped in-house testing room. It is a clean, professional role for an optometrist who enjoys patient contact and wants steady part-time hours without practice-ownership overheads. You'll deliver thorough eye examinations, advise patients clearly, and refer on where needed, all supported by good equipment and a helpful clinic team around you.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, thorough eye examinations
• Fit contact lenses and advise patients on safe use and care
• Refer patients for further ophthalmology care where needed
• Maintain accurate, complete patient records
• Advise patients on appropriate eyewear for their lifestyle and prescription
• Keep the testing room and equipment clean and well-maintained
• Explain eye conditions and findings clearly to patients

Requirements

• Degree in Optometry, registered with the Malaysian Optical Council
