Offshore Logistics Coordinator (Contract)

MIRI PETRO SERVICES SDN BHD coordinates personnel and cargo logistics for offshore platform operators along the Sarawak coast, with a dedicated logistics desk based in Miri handling daily manifest changes. Offshore logistics is unforgiving work where small errors carry real safety and cost consequences, so we run the desk with discipline and care. This is a role for someone calm, precise, and genuinely unflappable under pressure, who can keep people and cargo moving safely even when schedules change at the last minute.

This is a twelve-month contract role coordinating personnel and cargo movements to and from offshore installations for our client's platform operations, liaising with helicopter operators, marine vessels, and client logistics teams throughout. It is a high-tempo role where attention to detail directly protects both safety and budget. You'll be the person keeping every manifest accurate, every movement on schedule, and every stakeholder informed, even when the plan changes several times before lunch on a busy day.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule personnel-on-board manifests and cargo shipments accurately
• Coordinate with helicopter and supply boat operators on transport schedules
• Maintain accurate, complete logistics records for client audits
• Resolve last-minute manifest changes without disrupting flight or vessel schedules
• Track cargo backlogs and escalate capacity constraints early
• Liaise with client HSE on personnel-on-board compliance requirements
• Reconcile weekly logistics costs against the client's budget

Requirements

• At least 3 years of logistics coordination experience, oil and gas preferred
• Familiar with personnel-on-board manifest systems and marine logistics scheduling
• Strong attention to detail, as errors here have safety implications
• Calm and decisive under pressure when schedules change at short notice
• Clear communicator across operators, vessels, and client teams
