Job Description

Miri Creative Media Agency is a boutique agency producing marketing content, video, and branding work for northern Sarawak SMEs. A creative studio only runs well when someone dependable keeps the business side properly organised — the supplies, the schedules, the invoices, and the freelancers all need managing. That person is the Office Manager, the calm operational centre that lets the creative team do their best work without administrative chaos slowing everything down or derailing client deadlines.

We need an Office Manager to handle general office administration, supplier coordination, and basic bookkeeping support for our small studio. The role suits an organised all-rounder who genuinely enjoys variety and being the person who quietly keeps everything running. You'll have real ownership of how the studio operates day to day, working closely with the Managing Director and the creative team to keep projects, payments, and the office itself moving smoothly and without unnecessary friction.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage general office administration, supplies, equipment, and facilities
  • Coordinate with suppliers, printers, and freelance contractors on jobs
  • Support basic bookkeeping, invoicing, and day-to-day expense tracking
  • Organise studio schedules for client shoots, meetings, and deadlines
  • Handle incoming enquiries, calls, and general correspondence
  • Maintain organised records of contracts, invoices, and project files
  • Assist with onboarding freelancers and processing their payments on time

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration or a related field
  • At least 2 years of office management or senior administrative experience
  • Comfortable juggling multiple ongoing tasks and shifting priorities
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge and solid Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Proactive, dependable, and genuinely well-organised
