We need a Medical Laboratory Technologist to process and analyse clinical specimens across haematology, biochemistry, and microbiology for our 180-bed hospital, working closely with attending doctors on urgent results. You'll handle a high volume of specimens with care, maintain rigorous quality control, and report critical results promptly. It suits a meticulous, safety-conscious technologist who thrives on accuracy, follows protocol precisely, and understands that reliable lab work directly supports sound clinical decisions and good patient outcomes throughout the hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Process and analyse blood, urine, and other clinical specimens accurately
• Maintain lab equipment calibration and quality control logs
• Report critical results promptly to attending doctors
• Follow strict specimen handling and biosafety protocols
• Support inventory management of lab reagents and consumables
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment faults during shift
• Uphold laboratory accreditation and quality standards

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
