IT Project Coordinator

SANTUBONG SOFTWARE SDN BHD runs several concurrent client rollouts at any given time, and is hiring to keep that growing pipeline properly coordinated as the client base expands well beyond Sarawak. Good coordination is what keeps our engineers focused and our clients confident, and this role sits right at that intersection. It suits an organised, diplomatic person who takes real satisfaction in making sure nothing slips quietly through the cracks between teams, vendors, and clients.

We need an IT Project Coordinator to track deliverables across our concurrent client rollouts, keeping engineers, clients, and vendors aligned on timelines without letting anything quietly slip. It is a role built on clear communication, gentle persistence, and good organisation rather than deep technical work, though a working understanding of software delivery certainly helps. You'll be the person everyone relies on to know where each project stands and what needs to happen next to keep it moving.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project timelines and flag slippage early and clearly
• Coordinate between engineering, client stakeholders, and hardware vendors
• Prepare concise weekly status updates for management
• Run kickoff and handover meetings for new client projects
• Track project budgets against actual hours spent
• Maintain a shared project tracker across all active engagements
• Chase outstanding client decisions that are blocking engineering progress

Requirements

• At least 2 years of project coordination experience, IT projects preferred
• Strong organisational skills and clear, professional written communication
• Comfortable using project tracking tools such as Jira or Asana
• Able to push back diplomatically when a deadline is unrealistic
• Calm and methodical when juggling several projects at once
