It suits an experienced hotelier who is comfortable being the most senior person on-site, enjoys solving problems on the spot, and wants the trust and authority to run the whole operation smoothly across front office, housekeeping, and F&B during their shifts.

We're hiring a Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations across front office, housekeeping, and F&B during assigned shifts, acting as the senior point of contact for guest escalations. You'll coordinate departments, handle complaints, and respond to any incidents as the on-duty senior manager. It suits an experienced, level-headed hotelier with strong problem-solving and guest-service instincts, who is comfortable making judgement calls without waiting for senior sign-off and can keep the whole operation running smoothly and professionally across nights and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations across all hotel departments
• Handle guest complaints and escalations directly and calmly
• Coordinate with department heads on daily operational issues
• Conduct shift handover briefings with clear, accurate notes
• Respond to emergencies or incidents as the on-duty senior manager
• Authorise service recovery gestures within approved limits
• Ensure smooth, professional service throughout the shift

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hotel operations experience, prior supervisory role preferred
• Strong problem-solving and guest-service orientation
• Willing to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends

• Calm, decisive, and professional under pressure
