Sibu Golden Palace Restaurant Group runs banquet service across three restaurant outlets in Sibu, with head waiters leading the floor team through every function. On a busy banquet floor, a strong head waiter sets the pace, the standard, and the tone for the whole service team. It is a good step up for an experienced server ready to lead, who takes pride in polished service, enjoys the energy of large functions, and wants the responsibility of guiding a team through weddings and corporate events at a well-regarded banquet restaurant group.

We need a Head Waiter or Waitress to lead our floor service team during banquet functions and regular dining service, setting the pace for the rest of the team. You'll brief staff before functions, handle VIP tables personally, and step in to smooth over any service issues before guests notice. It suits an experienced, presentable server with the confidence to lead a small team, who is comfortable under high-volume service pressure and takes real pride in delivering polished, attentive service throughout every banquet and dining function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the floor service team during service

Requirements

• At least 2 years of F&B service experience, banquet service preferred
