Food Production Technician

We're hiring a Food Production Technician to operate mixing and packaging lines at our Halal-certified facility. The role suits someone practical, hygiene-conscious, and genuinely reliable who is comfortable with shift work in a busy food production environment. You'll run line equipment, uphold strict quality and hygiene standards throughout, and keep accurate production records shift by shift, working as part of a disciplined team that takes real pride in the quality of what leaves the factory.

Key responsibilities

• Operate mixing, filling, and packaging line equipment safely and correctly
• Follow strict food hygiene, GMP, and safety protocols at all times
• Monitor product quality closely against agreed batch specifications
• Carry out routine line changeovers, cleaning, and sanitation procedures
• Log production output, downtime, and wastage accurately each shift
• Report equipment faults and quality issues to the supervisor promptly
• Support correct stock rotation and accurate labelling of finished goods
• Keep the work area clean, orderly, and audit-ready at all times

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Food Technology or a related field
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including some weekends
• Comfortable following strict food hygiene and safety protocols
• Reliable, hands-on, and consistently attentive to detail
• Physically fit for an active production-floor role
