We need an Engineering Draughtsman to prepare irrigation layout and mill machinery drawings from engineers' design notes, translating field survey data into usable technical drawings. You'll revise drawings against site feedback, keep the filing system organised, and support engineers with basic quantity take-offs. It suits an accurate, practical draughtsman who is comfortable working from handwritten field notes and sketches, communicates well with field engineers to clarify unclear survey data, and takes pride in producing clean, reliable drawings that projects can be built from.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare irrigation and mechanical layout drawings from design notes
• Revise drawings accurately against site survey feedback
• Maintain an organised, well-controlled drawing filing system
• Support engineers with basic quantity take-offs
• Coordinate with field engineers to clarify unclear survey notes
• Occasionally visit plantation sites to take or verify measurements
• Keep drawing revisions clearly tracked

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering Drafting or a related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD
