Electrician – Construction Sites

Sarikei Housing Development Bhd is building several affordable housing blocks across the Sarikei division and needs on-site electrical coverage across multiple concurrent blocks. With units handed over on a tight schedule, dependable licensed electricians are essential to keeping the programme on track. It is a steady role for a qualified electrician who takes pride in safe, correct wiring and is comfortable coordinating with other trades on a busy multi-unit site, with consistent work across an active pipeline of affordable housing projects.

We need a licensed Electrician for wiring and fit-out work across our affordable housing projects in the Sarikei division, working alongside other trades on a tight handover schedule. You'll install wiring and fittings to approved drawings, test circuits before handover, and coordinate install sequencing with the site engineer. It suits a qualified, reliable electrician who works safely and accurately, coordinates well with other trades, and can keep pace with a demanding multi-unit handover programme without cutting corners on quality or safety.

Key responsibilities

• Install wiring and fittings according to approved electrical drawings
• Test completed circuits thoroughly before handover
• Coordinate with the site engineer on install sequencing
• Report material shortages or drawing discrepancies promptly
• Support final electrical inspections ahead of unit handover
• Work safely alongside other trades on a busy site

Requirements

• Valid electrician's licence (Suruhanjaya Tenaga)
• At least 2 years of residential wiring experience
• Own basic hand tools
• Comfortable working to a tight multi-unit handover schedule
