Crane Operator

SARAWAK SKYLINE BUILDERS SDN BHD is hiring for an ongoing residential tower project in Kuching that requires dedicated tower crane coverage throughout the build. Tower crane work is skilled, high-responsibility work where safety and precision are everything, and we support our operators with well-maintained equipment and a disciplined site safety team. It is a steady role for an experienced, certified operator who takes pride in safe, accurate lifts and wants dependable work on a substantial high-rise project with a reputable builder.

We need a certified Crane Operator for an ongoing residential tower project in Kuching, working closely with the site's rigging and safety teams on every lift. You'll operate the tower crane to daily lift schedules, carry out pre-use inspections, and coordinate carefully with riggers on the ground. It suits a calm, experienced operator with a clean safety record who is comfortable working at height in a high-rise environment and understands that patience and precision on every lift are what keep everyone on site safe.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the tower crane according to daily lift schedules
• Conduct thorough pre-use crane inspections and log the checks
• Coordinate lifts closely with riggers and the site safety team
• Report mechanical issues to the maintenance contractor immediately
• Maintain accurate lift logs for site records
• Follow lift plans and stop work if conditions become unsafe

Requirements

• Valid crane operator certification (CIDB or DOSH-recognised)
