Chemical Process Engineer

We need a Chemical Process Engineer to review process flow diagrams and support commissioning activities for petrochemical clients, working closely with client engineering teams throughout. You'll update P&IDs, take part in HAZOP and safety reviews, and support troubleshooting during early commissioning. It suits an experienced process engineer who is comfortable working on-site during commissioning under time pressure, contributes well to safety studies, and wants to be part of establishing and growing a new process engineering service line within a respected engineering firm.

Key responsibilities

• Review and update process flow diagrams and P&IDs
• Support commissioning activities for new process units
• Prepare clear technical reports for client review
• Participate actively in HAZOP and process safety reviews
• Coordinate with client engineers on design queries
• Support troubleshooting during early commissioning operation
• Contribute to building out the process engineering service line

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering
• At least 3 years of process engineering experience, petrochemical preferred
• Familiar with HAZOP and process safety reviews
• Comfortable working on-site during commissioning under time pressure
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
