Rajang Infrastructure Group builds and maintains infrastructure along the Rajang basin, including post-handover defect rectification on completed projects that keeps a small maintenance crew consistently busy. We need a Building Maintenance Supervisor to oversee post-handover defect rectification and warranty works across our completed projects, coordinating small trade teams as issues come in. You'll schedule warranty visits, handle occupant complaints professionally, and track defects through to closure. It suits a practical, personable supervisor who can juggle competing priorities, keep trade teams productive, and turn what can be a frustrating experience for occupants into a smooth, well-handled resolution that protects both their homes and the company's reputation.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate defect rectification works with small trade teams
- Schedule warranty visits within agreed response times
- Handle homeowner and occupant complaints professionally and calmly
- Track outstanding defects through to closure
- Maintain a log of recurring defect types to flag to the design team
- Prioritise urgent defects against routine warranty work
- Keep occupants informed on the status of their issues

Requirements
- At least 3 years of building maintenance or construction experience
- Comfortable coordinating small trade teams across plumbing, electrical, and painting
- Good communication skills for handling complaints
- Able to prioritise urgent defects against routine warranty work
- Organised, practical, and customer-focused
