We need an Agricultural Engineer to design irrigation and drainage systems and advise plantation clients on mill machinery upgrades across the Rajang basin, balancing design work with regular site visits. You'll assess sites, prepare proposals, and follow up on how your designs perform in practice. It suits a practical, client-focused engineer who enjoys a mix of desk and field work, can propose cost-conscious solutions that plantations will actually adopt, and wants variety across irrigation, drainage, and machinery projects for a broad range of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design irrigation and drainage systems for plantation clients
• Advise on mill machinery upgrade options and cost estimates
• Conduct site assessments for new engineering projects
• Prepare clear technical proposals for client review
• Follow up with clients on the practical results of implemented designs
• Coordinate with contractors on installation and commissioning

Requirements

• Degree in Agricultural or Civil Engineering
• Experience with irrigation or drainage design is an advantage
• Willing to travel to plantation sites around Sibu
• Comfortable proposing practical, cost-conscious solutions to clients
• Good communication and client-facing skills
